    Energy Investment Consortium

    Project to assist in the development of client’s desire to invest and develop a portfolio of operating hydro assets. Project focus was to identify and acquire small hydro operating assets (<1.5MW) with a long-term intent to develop an operating portfolio entity with 25MW+ of installed capacity.

    Material Sciences Corporation

    Engagement to assist the client in developing the market for a proprietary laminated metal product for use in various transportation applications, with particular emphasis in semi-trailer market. Client engagement focused on new business development and incremental sales for this product.

    SteriMed Transport

    Medical waste disposal start-up focused on providing greener and more cost effective medical waste disposal services for small scale generators. Windward was responsible for taking the client’s initial vision for the firm from white paper business case to fully operational business unit with over $1,000,000 invested during Windward’s engagement, including the establishment of operating facilities in Troy, Michigan and West Palm Beach, Florida. Windward was also engaged to develop a Franchise model for the entity which included developing a comprehensive Franchise Disclosure Document.

    Swicharoos

    Client had a stalled project involving a children’s sandal concept that employed interchangeable uppers. Windward was engaged to revive a dormant business and bring it to market, including product re-design, off-shore sourcing, and product promotion and distribution. Windward guided the partner through to an initial product launch of over 15,000 production sets.
